"One Spirit Worship" CD
One Spirit Worship is a collection of meditative songs that were written for Abiding Savior's contemplative worship service. It can best be described as "Taize with a twist." The twist is the use of world music as well an emphasis on the themes of peace and unity for all of God's people. In a world where divisions run deep, One Spirit Worship builds on Jesus' prayer that "they may all be one." [John 17:21]
Meditative singing has been used for thousands of years as a way of deepening our relationship with God. I hope you enjoy these songs and will use them for personal devotions as well as in your church's worship. The songs can be sung acapella, accompanied simply with a guitar or piano, or a full band can be used. Sheet music is available upon request at an additional charge. Purchase of the songbook secures the copyrights to use the songs in a group setting such as a church or retreat center. All profits made from the sale of this recording will be used to support the ministry and mission of Abiding Savior.
